11. When handling the ramp, wear protective gloves to protect your hands.
TOOL USE AND CARE
1. Distribute the load evenly. Uneven loads may cause the ramp to tip, resulting in personal
injury to the operator or others and damage to equipment.
2. Do not modify the ramp or use for a purpose for which it was not designed.
3. This tool was designed for a specific function.
Do Not:
a. Modify or alter the ramp. The ramp may be compromised if altered.
b. Use the ramp in a way for which it was not designed.
4. Maintain the label and nameplate on the tool. These carry important information. If
unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto for a replacement.
UNPACKING
1. Carefully remove the product from the package.
a. Retain packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily installed or
utilized the product.
2. Inspect the parts carefully to make sure the ramps were not damaged while shipping.
OPERATION
1. Be sure you are loading on a hard, level and stable surface and that the vehicle / trailer that
you are loading into is parked with the emergency / parking brake engaged and the engine is
off. Place the lip edge of the ramp against the box of the vehicle / trailer.
2. Secure the ramp to the vehicle using the safety strap. After the strap is secure, test the ramp
by pulling backward on it.
CAUTION! Make sure the ramp does not slide back or disengage from the loading surface.
3. Once the ramp is secure and the area is safe to proceed with loading, move the equipment to
be loaded to the ramp and center the load on the ramp.
4. Carefully roll or winch equipment up or down the ramp. Never drive or ride your equipment
while loading or unloading.
5. Proceed with loading the vehicle, making sure that the ramp is sustaining the load and not
bowing from the weight.
6. Continue until the vehicle is fully loaded. Secure and tie down as needed.
7. Unhook the safety strap and fold the ramp into the folded position. Store in a clean, dry and
safe place where damage will not occur.
