Note:
The mattress support on the side rails is pre-assembled in the low position when shipped to allow bed to be
used with a box spring mattress. If you intend to use your bed without a box spring, an adjustable mattress support
rail will have to be raised at the higher position on side rails. Follow Step 13 and onward if you intend to use bed
without a box spring
1. Attach the 2 Side Rails (C) to the Headboard (A) by aligning the exposed dowels on the Side Rails, with the pre-
drilled holes on the posts of the Headboard.
2. Insert 6 sets of: Short Allen Bolt (J), Spring Washer (I), and Flat Washer (H) through the holes on the pre-
attached metal plate of the Side Rail, and into the insert nut on the Headboard posts as seen in the illustration
below.
3. Tighten by Allen Key (L).
