Terminated Teleline and NIU Shelf Pairs on 5 Pin Protector 
Block

The design of this HVI incorporates a NIU terminating shelf. Wiring to that shelf 
has been accomplished from the Teleline shelf to the NIU unit. For details of that 
wiring see Table 13 on page 44. 

For the wiring details of the connections from the NIU unit and the subsequent 
connections on the protector block refer to Table 14 on page 45. 

For details on the wiring for the station cable routing from the Teleline shelf direct 
to the protector block see Table 15 on page 46. 

These connections have been terminated on the left hand side of the 5-pin 
protector block. There are three separate cables utilized (2) from the Teleline shelf 
and (1) from the NIU to connect the shelf and NIU to the protector block.
