Cable Color Code Identification
This splicing sequence will then join sheath cable pairs 1 through 5 to slots 1
through 5 for a two wire circuit. It will also join sheath cable pairs 9 through 13 to
slots 1 through 5 for the second half of a four wire circuit(s). This then results in
the following cable pair assignment for a series of four wire circuits:

The shelf stub cable pairs are terminated onto the isolation jacks. The tip of the
jack is the 'Tip' conductor and the shorter or higher pin on the jack is the 'Ring'
conductor location. The jacks are numbered from top to bottom, with the top jack
being number 1. The jack may utilize a screw terminal or wire wrap connection
method. This will insure that the circuits will appear in the shelf as expected,
designed, and listed in the Circuit Assignment List.

Do not BOND or GROUND the cable shield.
