3. Lower the temperature of the room where the equipment is installed.

4. Use an external power supply to power the shelf. This will reduce the internal

power dissipation.

For an example of the temperature calculation worksheet for a 8-card Shelf CCC
model 751109/15, refer to Table 10 on page 53.

The results of the calculation using those values is shown below:
