The LED indicates the presence of -24 Vdc or -48 Vdc in the shelf, regardless of
the source from an external or an internal power supply. The 5 A, 125 Vac, fast-
blow, replaceable fuse protects the internal power supply (if installed) from
excessive currents or overvoltage.

When powered through an external source, the requirements are:

-48 Vdc -42 Vdc to -54 Vdc, 2A

130 Vdc 113 Vdc to 145 Vdc, 1A

When using one or more external power supplies, all power outputs (including
returns) MUST have disconnect devices rated at 3A.
