The water does
not become clear
The filter does not
reach full power until
after approx. 5 weeks.
Wait until the filter has been
in use about 5 weeks.

Too small pump
used.
Replace pump.
There are too many
fishes.
A rule is approx. 1 kg fish /
1000 l. water. Feed sparingly.
The filter sponges are
dirty.
Clean the filter sponges.
The quartz glass is
dirty.
Remove the UV part
and clean the quartz glass.
UV lamp
does not light up
Check that there
is electricity in the
socket.
Check that the earth-leakage
circuit breaker is in position P.
Defective or too
old UV lamp.
Replace UV lamp.
Fault in the electrical
connection.
Check the connections.
The lamp is old.
The lamp must be replaced
after about 7,000 hours.
No water
from the filter
The function knob is
set to "CLEAN".
Set the knob to the "FILTER"
position.
The pump does not
pump.
Check the electrical
connection.
The filter outlet adap-
ter is blocked.
Clean the outlet.
The water is very
dirty.
Remove algae, dirt and
change some water.
