FUNCTION
The Flow Switch is the ideal protection for an electrical device in your pond installation,
such as a UV-C device or other device rated at up to 10 amps, for which it is desirable that it is
switched off once the water flow stops. Thanks to the compact design, the Flow Switch Plus is very
easy to install. Using the special tee fitting, the flow switch can be easily integrated into your new or
existing piping.
BENEFITS OF FLOW SWITCH:
• Prevents damage caused by dry running of devices
• Suitable for up to 10 A
• Easy installation
• IP54
• Compact design
• Easy to combine
• 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects
INSTALLATION
• Choose a location for the Flow Switch where the device will be protected against moisture, dirt and
direct sunlight as well as possible.
• Mount the Flow Switch on a stable wall, at an easily accessible location.
• Use screws and, if necessary, plugs suitable for the surface.
• Integrate the tee fitting in a horizontal pipe run, with the flow switch connection at the top, using PVC
adhesive. Note that the adhesive connections must be made without stress and be sufficiently dry
before water is let into the system.
• If earthing of the device that is to be connected is desirable or necessary, it is important that the
Flow Switch is connected to an earthed mains socket protected by a residual-current device.
In the winter
• Protect the Flow Switch from frost.
• Remove the water out of the pipes before the frost season sets in.
