The update of the µController software can be done directly via USB stick.
The USB stick may not be removed during the entire update process.
For this, the following steps must be followed:
1.
Download the file
„SATC12_FW_xxx.UC3“ from the homepage
the main directory of the USB stick
2.
Disconnect the device from the mains
3.
Insert the USB stick
4.
Connect the device to the mains
5.
Update starts automatically, the status LED lights up
red
6.
Data transmission, the status LED flashes
red
7.
Update successful, the status LED lights up
green
8.
Remove the USB stick
If the software is up to date, the following menu window will be displayed.

allows changes of the access data to the device and for increased
access security. It is found in the menu item

Important:
Please make sure to note the serial number, as this is required to reset the password if
necessary. The serial number is displayed on the Overview window (program menu) or in the
Set
Password
menu.
Should the password be lost or forgotten, we are happy to help with the general password reset. For this we
would need the serial number of the device. The serial number can also be found on the label on the outside of
the device housing. The general password reset can only be done by POLYTRON. For this process we
generate a new password with which the device can be unlocked again.
