17. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
The appliance does not turn
on.
No power.
Check that the appliance has
been disconnected from the
mains, as indicated in Section 1.
Does not dispense steam
Out of water
Steam lock activated
The boiler is not yet
pressurised.
Steam hose trapped or
twisted
Add water to the boiler as
described in Section 12.
Deactivate the steam lock on
the handle
Wait until the steam indicator
light comes on.
Check that the steam hose is
not trapped or twisted.
Steam does not come out
and the cap won’t unscrew
Steam button broken.
Take
the
appliance
to
an
Authorised Service Centre.
The appliance is pressurized
but little steam comes out.
Steam adjustment dial
set to the minimum.
Adjust the position of the dial
for the desired increase.
Accessories are difficult to
assemble.
The
seals
produce
friction.
Lubricate
the
seals
with
silicone grease or Vaseline, or
alternatively
with
a
small
amount of vegetable oil.
ONLY FOR SMART_AIRPLUS
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
FrescoVapor perfume is not
released when using steam.
FrescoVapor
knob
regulation
in
OFF
position
Please
check
the
Frescovapor level.
Turn
the
FrescoVapor
regulation knob in min or max
regulation.
Fill the Frescovapor tank.
Steam too damp using
FrescoVapor.
The steam is mixing with
FrescoVapor.
Reduce
the
quantity
of
FrescoVapor as desired, to
reduce the humidity of the
steam.
FrescoVapor
has
been
to
inserted into the boiler.
