turning the adjustment knob (8); for this type
of surface we recommend Maximum level of
steam.
9.3 Ensure that the steam lock on the handle
is deactivated (4)-(5).
9.4 Press and hold the steam trigger on the
handle and steam the surface thoroughly to
dissolve the dirt. Use a dry cloth to remove
the dirt dissolved by the steam. It is possible
to connect the accessory adapter and one of
the following accessories, recommended for
removing encrusted dirt from very narrow
surfaces,
to
the
flexible
handle:
steam
concentrator, small round brush, or large
round brush.
10. CLEANING FURNITURE AND
DELICATE SURFACES
10.1 Make sure that Section 1 has been
followed and connect the accessories as
indicated in Section 2.
10.2 Adjust the intensity of the steam by
turning the adjustment knob (8); for this type
of surface we recommend Minimum level
of steam.
10.3 Press and hold the steam trigger on the
handle and direct the jet onto a cloth.
10.4 Use the cloth previously steamed to
clean the surface, avoiding prolonged use on
the same spot.
11. OTHER GENERAL USES
11.1
BRIGHTENING
UP
CURTAINS
AND
DRAPES
Mites and dust can be removed from curtains
and drapes by steaming the fabric with just
the handle. The steam is able to remove
odours and brighten up colours, allowing the
fabric to be washed less frequently.
For this surface, set the steam to level
minimum.
11.2 REMOVING STAINS FROM CARPETS
AND UPHOLSTERY
Connect the lance, direct the steam directly
onto the stain with the greatest angle
possible (never vertically with respect to the
surface to be cleaned) and place a cloth
beyond the stain to collect the dirt that has
been “blown” away by the steam pressure.
For this surface, set the steam to level
minimum.
11.3
TAKING
CARE
OF
PLANTS
AND
HUMIDIFYING ROOMS
To care for your house plants, remove the
dust from the leaves using the steam. Steam
the surface directly from the handle, at a
minimum distance of 50 cm, adjust the steam
to the minimum level.
Plants breathe better and will be cleaner and
brighter. Furthermore, you can also use the
steam to refresh spaces, especially those
frequented by smokers.
12. OUT OF WATER
When the product no longer dispenses
steam, it means that there is no water in the
boiler.
To continue with use, proceed as follows:
• Unplug from the mains electricity.
• Act on the steam request lever until steam
flow ceases.
• Wait 10 minutes and remove the safety
cap, unscrewing it without force.
• Leave the appliance to cool for at least 10
minutes.
• Filling the boiler as indicated on section 1.
• Carefully screw the safety cap back on,
checking that it is completely closed.
WARNING: Steam.
Risk of scalding!
WARNING: Never fill the boiler as soon as
the safety cap is opened. The boiler is still
hot, even if the appliance is unplugged. On
contact with the hot, empty boiler, cold
water will evaporate producing a spray of
steam which could cause burns. Only fill the
boiler when it is cold and always keep your
face away from the boiler opening when
filling.
WARNING: Before cleaning the surface,
always do a test on a hidden part and see
how it reacts to the application of steam.
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet
directly onto surfaces.
WARNING: Before cleaning fabrics with
steam,
consult
the
manufacturer’s
instructions and always carry out a test on a
hidden part or on a sample of the material.
The different coloured small round brushes
allow for a different colour to be used for
each surface or environment.
WARNING: Steam.
Risk of scalding!
