- detach the cloth from the brush and wait 5 mi-
nutes for it to cool.
- once it is switched off, always place the Vapo-
retto Focus with the brush resting on the sto-
rage mat (

).
- wind the power supply cable around the spe-
cial cable winder (

) before storing the ap-
pliance.
Warning:
- For the appliance to remain stable in a
vertical position, the handle must be
pushed forward so that the joint between
the brush and the body of the appliance
clicks into place.
- For the appliance to remain stable in the
vertical position, it must always have the
rectangular brush attached (9b).
- Before using the appliance again,
remember to unwind the power cable
completely. The upper cable winder (3)
rotates 180° in order to unwind the power
cable quickly.
- Do not keep the appliance connected to the
power supply with the cable wound up.
PRECAUTIONS FOR DELICATE
SURFACES
• Please pay careful attention when cleaning
wooden surfaces and treated terracotta floo-
ring as prolonged use of steam may damage
the wax, polish or colour of the surfaces to be
cleaned. We therefore recommend dispensing
steam on these surfaces only for short periods
of time. Do not keep dispensing steam on the
same point.
• Use with extra caution on vinyl, linoleum or
any other heat-sensitive flooring.
• Too much heat can melt the glue in the floo-
ring. It is therefore recommended that a sam-
ple cleansing be carried out on an isolated
area of the floor. It is also recommended that
you check the use and care instructions of the
surface from the floor manufacturer to ensure
the suitability of steam cleaning.
Do not use the triangular brush
(
9a
) for cleaning wooden and treated terracotta
floors.
PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR THE
USE OF THE ACCESSORIES
MICROFIBER CLOTHS
- The universal microfiber cloth (

) can be
used on most surfaces.
- For rough surfaces or laminate floors, we
recommend using the special scrubbing cloth
(

).
EXCLUSIVE LIFT & SCRUB 2 IN 1 BRUSH
Vaporetto Focus comes with the exclusive 2 in 1
brush.
- The rectangular brush offers a large surface
area and must always be used covered by the
cloth.
- The triangular brush is particularly suited for
cleaning corners. It also has bristles and, be-
cause of this, is ideal for removing the most
stubborn dirt.
To release the triangular brush, just proceed as
follows:
•Press the release lever of
the rectangular brush with
your foot (
9b
) and lift the ap-
pliance.
Use the triangular brush
without a cloth on dirty or li-
mescale-encrusted areas and over tile joints
making lateral movements to lift the dirt, then
go back over the surface drying it with a cloth
to collect the dirt removed.
CARE OF YOUR APPLIANCE
• Before attempting any maintenance opera-
tion, make sure to always disconnect the ap-
pliance from the power source.
• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use
a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or deter-
gents as these could damage the plastic sur-
faces.
• The cloths provided can be washed by fol-
lowing the instructions given on the label.
