CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT
This appliance is intended for home use as a
steam mop as described and in accordance with
the instructions provided in this manual. Please
read these instructions carefully and keep them,
as you may find them useful in future.
Polti declines liability for any damage or ac-
cident derived from any use of Vaporetto
which is not in conformity with the instruc-
tions contained in this booklet.
PREPARATION FOR USE
Steam may cause serious injury if in
contact with body parts. Always allow the
steamer to cool down before handling.
To reduce the risk of personal injury
unplug the power cord from the electrical
outlet and let the appliance and the
accessories cool down completely before
handling.
Always make sure that the appliance is
unplugged before performing
maintenance work of any kind, including
adding water or cleaning the appliance.
• Remove the appliance from the packaging,
checking that the product is intact and that all
the parts are there.
•Insert the handle in the specific
opening on the appliance.
•Make sure that the pin on
the handle lines up with the
hole on the appliance.
•Fit the appliance to the
brush (

•Remove the water tank (

from the appliance pulling it
upward.
•Unscrew the cap with water
take-up hose.
•Remove it from the tank.
•Fill the tank with about 20.3
fl oz (0.6 l) of distilled water
using the jug supplied.
It is also possible to use tap water, provided the
anticalc filter is replaced after every 30 refills.
Tap water contains limescale which in the long
run could cause problems for the appliance if
the filter is not replaced regularly.
Do not add other substances or additives to the
water tank (
