Turn the camera insert
around, verify that the
film type appears in the
display window, and
check that the plate is
locked into position.
If the plate is not locked into position, turn the pressure plate
dial slightly until it snaps into position.

Turn the camera insert so
that the OFF/ON switch is
on the bottom. If the
empty spool is on the right
(take-up) side, proceed to
step 6.
If the empty spool is on the left side:
a
Swing out the left spool retainer, remove the empty spool,
and swing in the left spool retainer.
b
Swing out the right spool retainer, insert the empty spool,
and swing in the right spool retainer.

Turn the film roll so that
the film feeds toward the
back of the camera insert.

Swing out the left spool
retainer. Insert the film
roll. Swing in the left
spool retainer.
