Handlebar Adjustments
Standard Handlebar
Follow these steps to adjust the handlebar for a personal fit.
1. Remove the handlebar cover to
access the four adjuster block bolts (A).
2. Using a 7/16
″
(11 mm) wrench, loosen
the four nuts on the bottom of the
adjuster block (turn the handlebar either
left or right for access to the rear nuts).
NOTE:
It may be necessary to pry the
adjuster blocks apart with a screwdriver.
3. Adjust the handlebar to the desired angle. Be sure the handlebar,
brake lever and throttle lever operate smoothly and do not hit the gas
tank, windshield or any other part of the machine when the handlebar
is turned fully to the left or right.
4. Torque the handlebar adjuster block bolts to 11-13 ft. lbs.. (15-17.6
Nm).
5. Replace the handlebar cover.
Handlebar with Riser Block
1. Remove the handlebar cover to expose
the handlebar mounting hardware.
2. Using a 1/2” wrench, loosen the two
bolts on the bottom of the riser or the
two bolts on the top of the riser,
depending on the type of adjustment
required.
3. Adjust the handlebar to the desired
angle. Be sure the handlebar, brake
lever and throttle lever operate
smoothly and do not hit the gas tank,
windshield or any other part of the
machine when the handlebar is turned fully to the left or right.
4. Torque the handlebar adjuster block bolts to 11-13 ft. lbs. (15-17.6
Nm).
5. Replace the handlebar cover.
