Channels that located at the top of windows, let you split a
color image into individual Hue, Saturation, and Lightness
channels. For example, each image represents one of 3 additive
colors (red, green, and blue). The name of the channel appears in
the title bar. This can be useful in comparing color ranges between
the color values, and in identifying methods when editing specific
areas.
Preferences
Use the Preferences option to change the unit of measure from
standard to metric, or from metric to English. Click Preserve
Prescan Image, so the image displayed in the Prescan window will
not be removed after you close the TWAIN dialog box. This
feature is extremely convenient if you
e checking scanned
images for quality, proper filtering and/or scale.
