WLAN

The Dual mode phone has been pre-configured to work with any open wireless
network. The phone will obtain an IP address automatically once it recognizes
and connects to the WLAN network.

Any modifications made to the internal configuration of this device, not
expressly approved by your service provider will void the warranty of this
device.

The WLAN settings interface allows you to check WLAN network status, and
set profiles. It includes five functions,

WLAN status

By means of this menu it is possible to know which WLAN network settings are
currently stored and working.
In detail, the following information is available:

Phone MAC

(MAC address of

Dual Mode telephone),

SSID

: (connected WLAN names: WLAN Modem,

Access-Point),

Authentication type

: (used protection: WEP, WPA, WPA2 or

none),

BSSID

: (MAC Address of connected WLAN Modem),

Channel

:

(channel used. Available values 1-13 depending on the WLAN Modem),

Signal strength, Phone IP , Subnet mask, Gateway

,

DHCP server , Pri. DNS

server, Sec. DNS server, WMM status

and

WMM power save status.

Example 1:

the left bar above the G-symbol displays the GSM network’s

strength. To make the network usable, there should be at least three bars
displayed on the screen.
