[DEFAULT mode] 

If you click DEFAULT, SOUND COLOR FX equipped to the connected hardware will be 

shown on the screen. 

 

When connecting the DDJ-RX, the display will be shown as follows. 

 

 

FILTER is displayed when connected with a hardware not equipped with SOUND 

COLOR FX or no hardware is connected.

Click the DEFAULT mode button. 

 

The DEFAULT mode is selected. 

 

2 

Click the FX button. 

 

The FX is turned on. 

 

 

The same FX will be applied to Channel 1 to Channel 4. 

3 

Turn the COLOR knob. 

   

The FX is applied to the channel you turned the knob. 

 

If the COLOR knob is in the center position, the FX is not applied. 

 

The effect of FX differs when you turn the knob clockwise and counterclockwise. 

4 

Turn the parameter knob. 

   

You can adjust the effect of FX. 

 

[USER mode] 

In the USER mode, you can select favorite FXs from the 9 types and save them.

Click the USER mode button. 

   

The USER mode is selected.

 

2 

Click the EDIT button. 

   

The EDIT button is turned on, and the EFFECT button switches to a pull-down 

menu.
