Some DVDs have a menu. Select the language from this menu.
This setting cannot be set during playback.

Select the desired language from among
136 languages. For details, see “When

Select whether subtitles are to be displayed or not, or whether
“Assist Subtitle” is to be displayed. This setting cannot be
changed during playback.

subtitles are displayed when this setting
is selected, but only if they have been re-
corded on the disc.
