Crossover Network
Crossover frequency is the point where the receiver divides the high and low sounds (the frequencies) between the
speakers. Certain bass sounds will play back from the subwoofer if you selected it as YES (or PLUS) or from the front
speakers if you selected them as LARGE. This setting decides where the cutoff will be between those bass sounds
playing back from the speaker selected as above and the bass sounds for the entire soundtrack, which play back
from all speakers used.
If all speakers are set to LARGE (see page 39) this setup is unnecessary.
Follow steps 1-5 on page 85, if necessary, to get to the
starting point mentioned here.
1 CROSSOVER NETWORK should be
selected, if it isn’t use the
buttons
to select and press ENTER.
2 Use the
buttons to select
frequency cut off point. Press ENTER.
Frequencies below the cut off point will be sent to the
subwoofer (or large speakers). For example, choosing 50
Hz sends bass frequencies below 50 Hz to the subwoofer
(or large speakers).
3 EXIT should be selected (if it's not use
the
buttons to select it). Press
ENTER.
Next, proceed to FINE CHANNEL LEVEL.
If you want to change a setting before proceeding
start over from step 1.
Memo:
The default is 80Hz.
