Using the Performance Pads
•
Normal playback continues with its original rhythm in the background during Slicer
Loop playback, but you can’t hear this.
•
Release a Performance Pad to end Slicer Loop playback. Normal playback starts from the
position reached in the background.
•
Playback returns to and continues from the beginning of section 1 if playback reaches the
end of the domain.

Saved Flip mode
Serato Flip is a function that enables you to record a sequence, or call up a recorded
sequence, of Hot Cues. The recorded sequence of Hot Cues is called a Flip.
You can save and play a Flip using the Performance Pads on the unit.

To use Saved Flip mode, you need to buy and activate Serato Flip.
Registering a Flip to a slot
1 Create a Flip using Serato DJ Pro.

For details on how to create a Flip, refer to the Serato DJ Pro software manual
(page 6).
2 Press the Performance Pad 3 while pressing the [MODE]
button and [SHIFT] button.
The unit switches to Saved Flip mode.
3 Press the Performance Pad for the slot you want to save the
Flip to.
The Flip is saved to the slot.
