Crossfader Hot Cue
You can start playback from a Hot Cue point by moving the crossfader.
Using Crossfader Hot Cue
1 Press the [FX1/CUT4] button while pressing the [SHIFT]
button.
Crossfader Hot Cue turns on or off.

If the [
FX1/CUT4
] button blinks when the [
SHIFT
] button is pressed, Crossfader Hot
Cue is on.
•
If the [
FX1/CUT4
] button light is off when the [
SHIFT
] button is pressed, Crossfader
Hot Cue is off.
2 Set a Hot Cue point (page 47).
3 Press one of the Performance Pads that have a Hot Cue set.
4 Set the crossfader all the way to the left side or right side.

Set the crossfader to the side opposite to the deck that triggers Crossfader Hot Cue.
Example: Moving the crossfader from the left end to the other side triggers Hot Cue
on Deck 2, and vice versa.
5 Move the crossfader away from the left or right side.
•
To use Crossfader Hot Cue, the track loaded on the opposite deck must have a Hot
Cue set.
•
Playback starts from the last triggered Hot Cue point.
•
For a certain period of time after playback starts from the Hot Cue point, even if you
perform the same procedure, playback doesn’t restart from the Hot Cue point. You
can set the period of time in the Utility settings (page 67).
