Recording Directory on the Apple® iPod®
The recordings are stored in the
iPod_Control\Music\F99
directory located in
the main directory. If this directory does not yet exist on your iPod®, it will be
automatically created when recording starts.
The name of the file is "
xxxx.mp4
", where "xxxx" stands for a 4-digit number.
If your iPod® does not yet contain any recordings, the first file name will be
"
0001.mp4
". For each successfully started recording, the file name number is
automatically increased by 1.
If one or more files with the file name "
xxxx.mp4
" already exist on the
connected iPod®o when a new recording is started, the new recording is labeled
with the highest number of any previous recording plus 1.
If a file named "
9999.mp4
" already exists on the iPod®, a new recording cannot
be started in normal mode until this file is deleted. A recording can be started in
forced mode without having to delete this file beforehand. To do this, press the
REC
button for more than two seconds. The file already on the device is now
overwritten.
In the iPod® playlist, files recorded using Pinnacle Video Transfer are displayed
formatted as "
Pinnacle video xxxx
", where "xxxx" stands for the consecutive 4-
digit number of the individual file.
