The i.MX35x microcontroller provides two CAN controllers. Because there is only one CAN interface
available on the i.MX Carrier Board, Phytec designed a second CAN interface on the i.MX35 mapper
board. With this interface the CAN1 controller is used.
Its signals are multiplexed with the SD2-Card interface. Jumpers J10 to J12 can select whether the
CAN1 interface is used or the SD2 signals are mapped to the Carrier Board.
