Preventive Maintenance

Defibrillator Cleaning

WARNING!

Shock or fire hazard.

Do not immerse any portion of this defibrillator in

water or other fluids. Avoid spilling any fluids on the defibrillator or
accessories.

The defibrillator should be cleaned after each use to ensure proper device
operation before the next patient use.

Do not clean any part of the defibrillator or accessories with bleach, bleach
dilution, or phenolic compounds. Do not use abrasive or flammable cleaning
agents. Do not steam, autoclave, or gas-sterilize the defibrillator or its
accessories. Follow the cleaning guidelines provided below.
