Important!
Plug in the power supply after installation but do not turn on power
until the wireless connection between charger and receiver has been
established (see page 11).

Connecting a landline telephone
1. Connect one end of your existing telephone line cord to the charger jack

and the other end to the telephone wall outlet.
2. Connect one end of the telephone cord to charger jack

and the other
end to your landline telephone using the bell to bell telephone cord.
Connect power
1. Firmly insert the power supply

into your mains wall outlet. Do not
turn on main power until a wireless
connection between the charger and
the receiver has been established.

Please note:
Most televisions disconnect speakers when attaching a jack to the

headphone output.
Some flat screen televisions may have a significant delay leading to “echo
•
sound effects” when used with hearing aids in MT-position. Please contact
Phonic Ear for futher information.
Connect cables to a television
In the following, we refer to the sound source as a television, however, the
sound may come from a variety of different sound sources e.g. radio, MP3,
CD, computer etc.
Connecting a television or other sound source
1. Use the enclosed cables and connectors to connect your television.
Depending on the TV model, you can choose between the following
connections on your TV:
a. Line out (RCA phono to mini jack)
b. Scart (SCART adaptor and RCA phono to mini jack)
c. Headphone out (mini jack/6 mm jack to mini jack)
2. Connect the mini jack into charger jack
