2.5 Staff requirements
WARNING!
Danger in the event of insufficiently qualified per-
sons!
Insufficiently qualified persons are unable to assess
the risks associated with handling the lifting column
and thus put themselves and others at risk of severe or
fatal injury.
– Only have suitably qualified persons carry out all
work.
– Insufficiently qualified persons must be kept away
from the work area.
The different tasks described in this manual require the persons to
whom the tasks were assigned to have different qualifications.
Only persons who can be expected to reliably complete the tasks
are approved for all work. Persons whose reactions are impaired
due to drugs, alcohol or medication, for example, are not approved.
In this manual, the following staff qualifications are listed for the dif-
ferent tasks:
Assembly staff
The assembly staff are the persons designated by the operator to
carry out installation/assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting
for the assembly workstation. The operator must ensure that the
staff deployed are qualified to carry out the assembly work.
Based on their professional training, knowledge and experience, as
well as their knowledge of the relevant regulations, the assembly
staff must be capable of carrying out work assigned to them and of
independently identifying and avoiding potential hazards.
The assembly staff are specifically trained for the area of responsi-
bility they work in and are aware of the relevant standards and reg-
ulations.
Qualified electrician
Based on their professional training, knowledge and experience, as
well as their knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations,
the qualified electrician must be capable of carrying out work on
electrical systems and of independently identifying and avoiding
hazards.
The qualified electrician is specifically trained for the work environ-
ment they work in and is familiar with the relevant standards and
regulations.
