2.3.2 Electrical hazards
DANGER!
Danger of death due to electric current!
There is an imminent danger of death in the event of
contact with live parts. Damage to the insulation or
individual components can be life-threatening.
–
Only have qualified electricians carry out work on
the electrical system.
–
Make sure that the mains plug is freely accessible
after installation.
–
In case of damage to the mains cable and/or
supply cable, pull the mains plug, remove the
assembly workstation from service and have
repairs made.
–
Before starting work on live parts of electrical sys-
tems and equipment, isolate them from the voltage
(pull the mains plug) and make sure that they
remain de-energised for the duration of the work.
–
Never bridge or disable fuses. When replacing
fuses, observe the correct current specification.
–
Keep moisture away from live parts. Otherwise,
this can lead to a short-circuit.
2.3.3 Mechanical hazards
WARNING!
Risk of crushing and entanglement due to falling
components!
Reaching into the area of the moving components of
the lifting column can cause serious injuries.
–
Never reach into the area or handle moving parts
during the lift movement of the table.
–
Only carry out work on the lifting columns when
they are at a standstill.
Danger zones:
n
Risk of crushing and entanglement in the transition positions of
the profiles of the lifting columns
n
Risk of crushing between the moving table and objects under-
neath it.
Electric current
Moving components (lifting
column)
