Recover Firmware

To recover �rmware to the version you bought it with, follow the steps below.

.  Connect the SA5000 to your computer using the USB cable.
2.  Insert the supplied CD.
3.  The Philips Firmware Manager will automatically be installed on the desktop of your

computer.

4. Double click the "Philips Firmware Manager" icon on the desktop

to start the program.

If your device needs to be recovered the program will detect this. You will see the

window shown as in the image.

5. Click the "Recover" button to recover your Firmware.
6. Disconnect the SA5000 safely from your computer.

Note:

If you update the Firmware, all data saved in the memory will be erased.
