To set the number of rings before answering
You can set the answer machine to start playing the outgoing message after a given number
of rings (3, 5 (default setting) or 7).
1. Press and press Down to reach ANS MACHINE .
2. Press , ANSWER ONLY is shown, press Down to reach NB RINGS .
3. Press , scroll to select one of the available settings ( 3 , 5 , or 7 ).
4. Press to confirm.
To activate / deactivate the remote control
By default the remote control of the answer machine is deactivated. You can activate this
function, this allows you to remotely access your answer machine via any telephone and
check your messages.
1. Press and press Down to reach ANS MACHINE .
2. Press , ANSWER ONLY is shown, press Down to reach REMOTE .
3. Press , scroll to select one of the available settings ( DEACTIVATED
or ACTIVATED ).
4. Press to confirm.
Note: When ANSWER ONLY / ACTIVATED is selected, then the
associated outgoing message is automatically set, i.e. „This is an answering
machine, please call back later“.
When ANSWER ONLY / DEACTIVATED is selected, then the associated
outgoing message is automatically set, i.e. „This is an answering machine, please
leave your message after the tone“.
The voice language for the default outgoing messages depends on the country
selected in Welcome mode, see page 2.
