Using the Omega Web Administrator

To retrieve a theme from PS200, log on to Omega Web Administrator and select
Manage
under the
Theming
heading. Click the
Download
button to extract the theme from the PS200 Thin Client you
initially logged on to and save it locally.
You can also upload a theme archive to one or more Thin Clients instead of having to configure each one
manually. To upload a theme, click the
Choose
button and select the theme archive file, then
Upload
Selected
to upload the theme to all selected Thin Clients.
Editing Themes Manually
If Omega Web Administrator is not available, or if you only want to make small changes, it may be easier
to edit a theme manually. The file
theme.xml
can be extracted from the theme ZIP file, and edited with
a text editor such as Notepad. Once the changes are made, add the edited file back to the ZIP file, and
upload the theme as normal.
Adding Screen Saver Images
The Omega Web Administrator allows you to add screen saver images to your PS200 terminal when it is
idle.
To add screen saver image, click the
Screen Saver Images
link under
Theming
. Browse for the image you
want to add click
Save Selected
.
Changing the Administrator Password
By default, the username and the administrator password are set to “root” and “pharos” respectively.
The administrator password can be changed in the Omega Web Administrator.
Change the administrator password by clicking the
Change Password
link under
System
and entering a
new password. Click
Save Selected
button to save the new password.
Configuring Network Details of thePS200
The Omega Web Administrator allows you to change the network settings of your PS200. This section
provides you with the steps in configuring the network details of your PS200 using the Omega Web
