Knife position
Requirement
There must be a distance of
4
mm between the cutting edge of the knife and the needle.
The right edge of the knife

must not extend beyond the right edge of the thread cat-
cher (see arrow).

Bring the needle bar to BDC.
Slide knife

under the locking tab and align according to requirement

Tighten screw

lightly.
Adjust thread catcher carrier

by hand until the wedge point in the thread catcher is
positioned just in front of the cutting edge of the knife.
Align knife

according to requirement

and tighten screw
