Troubleshooting
The Transmitter is
sounding an intermittent
double tone alarm.
• The intermittent double tone is the Metal Interference Alarm. This alarm
sounds if the Transmitter is placed too close to a metal surface. When
this alarm sounds, the transmission output is disabled and your pet is no
longer being contained. Relocate the Transmitter and either unplug the
Power Adaptor from the Power Jack or press the Alarm Disable Button for
5 seconds then release.
The Transmitter is
sounding an intermittent
single tone when I unplug
the Power Adaptor from
the wall outlet.
• The Power Loss Alarm in the Transmitter is activated to alert you that power
has been removed from the Transmitter and your pet is no longer being
contained. To turn off the Power Loss Alarm, unplug the Power Adaptor from
the Power Jack located on the bottom of the Transmitter or press the Alarm
Disable Button for 5 seconds then release.
The Transmitter is
generating a loud
continuous tone.
• The Transmitter has a built in Transmission Failure Alarm that continuously
monitors the Transmitter output. If a transmission failure ever occurs the
alarm warns you that your pet is no longer being contained. Contact the
Customer Care Centre for a replacement Transmitter.
