Installation in Glass
This variant of the Passport
™
Intelligent Cat Flap (Model number: PPA19-20558) can be installed in glass. Glass installation of the Cat Flap requires
a glass adapter which is available for purchase by calling the Customer Care Centre. The glass adapter comes with a separate circular cutting
template to use specifically for glass installation. It is not possible to cut holes in toughened glass or double glazed units except at the time of
manufacture. Please consult a glazier.
note:
When installing the Cat Flap in glass, the structural integrity of the glass should be considered. It is recommended to install the flap in glass
that is at least 3 mm thick, and the glass pane should be no wider than 815 mm.
