2.8.S

AFETY PROTECTION DEVICES

Safety for operator is guaranteed by that the cutting unit is entirely inside the steel frame of the
machine, and the operator can not access directly to it. The cutting blade, when the machine is
not cutting the profile, rests inside (below the upper surface) the working table so the operator
can not get in touch with it.
The area where the cut is performed is insulated by a fixed steel made guard in the rear part
and a mobile steel made guard with anti shock pastic window in the front part. There are also
plastic made safety barriers which protect the operator against projections of debris and scraps
during cutting operations.
The cutting phase can be performed only when the front safety cover is completely down: a
safety switch allows the electric motor to start working only when the guard is completely down
and cuts immediately the electric power when the safety guard is moved up.
