ROFILE CLAMP

 

 
This machine has 4 clamping pressure units, 2 horizontal units and 2 vertical units, which can 
be set-up according to the dimensions and shape of the profile to be cut. The profile rests inits 
lower side on the working table and in its rear side on the reference stops. The operator acts on 
the  clamping  commands  (see  buttons SB1 and SB2 and selector  SBS in  Figure 7) and block 
the profile in position. 
To  ensure  safety  for  the  operator,  the  blocking  operation  is  firstly  performed  at  low  pressure 
values. Then when the safety upper cover is moved down and the cutting unit is turned on, the 
system will work at high pressure values and the profile will be strongly blocked in position. 
The position and the degree of the  clamping cylinders can be varied accordingly to the shape 
and dimensions of the profile to be cut. It is possible to block/unblock the profile only when the 
blade is inside the steel frame, well below the working table, in rest position.
