To support hood
Insert the brace into the slot on the hood.
WARNING
Mke sure the hood brace supports the
hood securely after Inserting it. Failure
to do so could cause the hood to fall and
result In serious bodily Injury.

To lock hood
Store the hood brace in the original position.
Lower the hood and push down the front edge
of the hood gently to latch the hood.
CAUTION
Push down the hood with excessive froce
may dent the hood panel.
WARNING
Make sure the hood Is securely closed and
latched before driving.
The driver's vision will be locked If the hood
accidentally opens fully. Should you notice,
while driving, that the hood Is not
securelylocked,lmmedlatelypullofftheroad,
stop the vehicle and fatch the hood se­
curely.
