5.3 Function Testing
Checking the Warning Device
The warning device is maintenance-free. To ensure the entire alarm system
functions correctly, check the function of the warning device at the following
intervals:
1. Check the function of the warning device at least once a year.
2. If the warning device is used in difficult conditions, perform this check more
often.
To test the function of the warning device, you can perform an LED and relay test.
Activating the Function Test
Press the "ALARM RESET" button and hold for approximately 3 seconds.
An audible signal sounds.
The warning device then automatically runs through the following test steps:
1. The warning device switches to test mode.
2. Each LED illuminates in turn for 1 second.
3. Both relays are activated in turn for 1 second.
4. An audible signal sounds.
5. The warning device returns to the current status.
