5.2. Password Page
You can easily set up a password to secure the ICDM-RX/MOD.
There is no password set from the factory.
Use the following information to configure a password for this ICDM-RX/MOD.
1. If necessary, click
Network | Password
.
2. If changing an existing password, enter that password in the
Old Password
field.
3. Enter a new password.
4. Enter the password in the
Confirm New Password
field.
5. Click the
Save
button.
To log into the ICDM-RX/MOD, you must enter the following:
•
admin
for the username
• The configured password for the password

Use static
configuration
below
Configures the ICDM-RX/MOD with the static IPv4 address information that you
provide in the IPv4 Address, IPv4 Netmask, and IPv4 Gateway fields below.
The ICDM-RX/MOD is shipped from the factory with the following default IPv4
network settings:
• IPv4 address = 192.168.250.250
• IPv4 Netmask = 255.255.0.0
• IPv4 Gateway address = 192.168.250.1

If
Secure Config
mode is enabled, unencrypted access to administrative and
diagnostic functions is disabled.
Secure Config
mode changes ICDM-RX/MOD
behavior as follows:
• Telnet access to administrative and diagnostic functions is disabled. SSH
access is still allowed.
• Unencrypted access to the web server via port 80 (http:// URLs) is disabled.
Encrypted access to the web server via port 443 (https:// URLs) is still allowed.
• Administrative commands that change configuration or operating state which
are received using the Fuchs Comtrol proprietary TCP driver protocol
on TCP port 4606 are ignored.
• Administrative commands that change configuration or operating state that are
received using the Fuchs Comtrol MAC mode proprietary Ethernet
protocol number 0x11FE are ignored.
