Instruction Manual - RIV949
7.3.1 - REFILLING THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT WITH OIL
Figure 7.3-A
The hydraulic circuit needs to be refilled with oil after a long period of use, and when you notice a reduction in the tank.
Proceed as follows (see Picture 7.3-A):
• Disconnect the airline from the tool inlet.
• Remove cap (A).
• Pour the oil.
• Screw the cap (A).
• Connect the tool to compressed air line and start a couple of idle cycles. Make sure that the circuit is filled with oil and that
no air bubbles are left inside; otherwise, the piston does not complete the stroke. Then place the handle lower than the
box and loosen the bleed screw in the module (C).
• The oil begins to come out by gravity with smooth consistency, and no air bubbles should be present.
• Wear gloves when managing the oil.
Do not throw the old oil outdoors. Dispose of it at your local waste disposal center.
Warning! If you should accidentally spill oil on your skin, wash and rinse thoroughly with water and alkaline soap.
