6.4 - EXAMPLES OF SETTINGS

RIV949 is very suitable for correct setting of the rivet nuts for pipes, as the initial strength (pressure) must be very high. However, 

final strength must be regulated acting on the stroke.

The piston stroke is 6.5 mm. In case you have to repeat the setting, screw again and pull without damaging the tie rod (screw).

Stroke adjustment is very important when using small rivet nuts (m3-m5), as they are more subject to the breaking of the tie rods.
