8. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Caution
Wear protective gloves when handling the tool.
8.1. STORAGE
• Switch off the tool (see Section 5.2, “ Power on or off”).
• Disconnect the battery (see Section 4.3, “Connecting
and disconnecting the Pellenc ALPHA 260 or 520 bat-
tery”).
• Store the battery (refer to the battery operating instruc-
tions).
• Clean the tool (see Section 6.3, “Cleaning the tool”).
• Store the tool in a dry place out of children's reach.
• Never store the tool at an ambient temperature above
+45 °C.
• Always store a tool with its blade sharpened (see Sec-
tion 6.6, “Sharpening the work tool”).
• Fit the clip-on seals (12).
8.2. TRANSPORT
• Switch off the tool (see Section 5.2, “ Power on or off”).
• Disconnect the battery, see Section 4.3, “Connecting and disconnecting the Pellenc ALPHA 260 or 520 battery”.
• Fit the clip-on seals (12).
• Ensure that the tool and the battery are secured in the transport vehicle.
