4. COMMISSIONING
For information about mandatory PPE when handling your tool, refer to Section 2.6, “Personal protection equipment”
Remove the tool from its packaging and check its contents, refer to Section 3, “Description and technical features”.
Caution
Before any maintenance intervention on the tool:
1. Check that the battery is switched off, via the push button on the battery.
2. Disconnect the battery.
For more information, refer to the instruction manual supplied with the battery.
4.1. ASSEMBLING / DISMANTLING THE FRONT HANDLE
Mounting
1. Fit the front handle (15) onto the pole (14).
Note
To obtain a comfortable position for the user, it
is necessary to adjust the position of the front
handle (15) on the pole (14).
2. Ensure that the adjustment knob (20) is loose.
3. Fit the adjustment knob (20) onto the pole (14).
4. Screw in the 2 screws (21) using a Torx 25 screw-
driver.
Important
Tightening torque: 3 N.m.
5. Lock the adjustment knob (20) to block the position
of the front handle (15) on the tool.
Disassembly
1. Unscrew the adjustment knob (20) of the front han-
dle (15).
2. Remove the 2 screws (21) a Torx 25 screwdriver.
3. Remove the front handle (15) of the tool.
4. Remove the adjustment knob (20).
