Figure 13
1. Put the Whole House Water Filter and NaturSoft
®
tanks into bypass.
2. Turn the adjustment dial to 20%.
3.
Ensure the pump setting switch is on
“
T
”
4. Plug unit into wall outlet.
5. Turn on the nearest spigot to the system.
6. Listen and watch the pump to make sure it is pumping. The pump should pulse for every
gallon of water run. Watch water level in tube to make sure it is lifting.
7. Let the water run for 5 minutes or measure 30 gallons of water on water meter.
8. After 5 minutes or 30 gallons of water, use a chlorine test strip to test a sample of water from the nearest cold water
faucet.
a. The optimum chlorine level reading is 0.5-1.0 ppm on the test strip.
b. If you do not have a reading of chlorine unplug the pump, turn dial to 30% and check
reading again. Double check to make sure the Water Filter and NaturSoft
®
Tanks are in
bypass.
9. IMPORTANT!
If after testing again there is still no reading of chlorine, we recommend calling in to speak with a Technical Support
representative. 877-842-1635
