Hot Air with Bottom heat
• The bottom heater and the hot air fan will operate.
• This is used to bake pizza, moist pastry, fruitcakes, leavened dough and shortcrust.
• Place the baking tray or oven rack on level 2.
Bottom Heat with fan
• This is used for baking leavened but low-rising pastry and for preserving fruit and vegetables.
• Place the baking tray or oven rack on level 2.
Warming
• Use this function to reheat your dinnerware (plates, cups) before serving food in it to keep the
food warm longer.
Defrost
• With this function, the air circulates by means of the fan. Use this function to defrost frozen
dishes.
• Place the baking tray or oven rack on level 3.
Aqua clean
• Only the bottom heater will radiate heat. Use this function to remove stains and food
residues from the oven. The program takes 30 minutes.
Using the gas hob
• Regularly check that the burner caps and burner rings are correctly positioned on the burner
bases. Incorrect positioning can result in poor ignition, poor combustion or damage to the
caps. Over time, the enamel on the support point can become burnt-in because the burner
heats the pan support very strongly. This is unavoidable and is therefore not covered by the
guarantee.
• Always ensure that the flames remain below the pan. If flames play around the pan, a lot of
energy is lost. In addition, the handles can get too hot.
• When frying, stir-frying, heating through large quantities and deep-frying it is better to use
the semi-rapid, rapid or wok burner.
• Preparing sauces, simmering and boiling can be done best on the simmer burner. On its
high setting, this burner is large enough for cooking food right through. For all other dishes,
use the semi-rapid burners.
• Cook with the lid on the pan. This way you save up to 50% energy.
• Use pans with a flat, clean, dry base. Pans with a flat base stand stably and pans with
a clean base transfer the heat more effectively to the food.
• With the wok burner (depending on model), you can prepare dishes at a very
high temperature.
USE
