closer to the wheel flange. Turn the adjusting

screw clockwise to steer the blade away from

the wheel flange.

7.  When the blade guide is set, tighten the screws

(A).

Adjustment of bearings in the saw blade

guide

Warning!

This machine is designed and intended for use

with blades that are 19 mm wide, 0.9 mm thick

and 2360 mm long. Use of blades with other

specifications may lead to degraded

performance.

1.  Disconnect the machine from the power

source.

2.  Move the saw arm to the desired position for

adjustment and lock in place by closing the

hydraulic cylinder valve.

3.  Loosen the Allen screw (C, fig. 14) and adjust

the ball bearings so that the bearing behind the

saw blade is approximately 0.08 mm – 0.12

mm from the back of the blade. Loosen the nut

(A) to adjust the centre position with the

adjusting screw (B) so that the ball bearings

rest against the saw blade.

4.  Check that the blade can move freely and

tighten the hex screw and nuts.

5.  Repeat for another blade guide.

6.  Connect the machine to the power source.

Lower weight adjustment

The lowering weight is one of the most important

adjustments of the saw. If the lowering weight is

not set correctly, you can expect degraded

performance, crooked cuts, worn saw teeth, loose

stops and saw blades. The hydraulic feed unit will

not compensate for incorrect lowering weight. The

lowering weight is set at the factory and does not

need to be adjusted. If adjustment is still

necessary:

1.  Disconnect the machine from the power

source.

2.  Turn the hydraulic cylinder valve and place the

saw arm in horizontal position.

3.  Turn the feed valve on the hydraulic cylinder

counterclockwise until it stops.

4.  Place a hanging weight under the tension

handle and lift the saw arm. The scale should

indicate about 5-6 kg.

5.  Adjust the tension to approx. 5-6 kg by turning

the bolt (A, Fig.16).

6.  Connect the machine to the power source.
