APPLicAtiOn
The PHC voltage supply belongs to the PEHA PHC system. It
is designed for supplying the PHC system with 24V DC/ 1.5A.
The modular sockets and the module bus terminal (optional)
are for data connection and voltage supply to further modules.

MOunting & instALLAtiOn
important installation information !
Installation and commissioning may only be performed by
an authorised electrician. Mains power (220-240V~/50-60
Hz) to electrical equipment must be switched off during
installation. Applicable laws and standards of the country
in which the device is operated must be observed!
The module is designed for mounting on a 35mm top hat
rail acc. EN 50022 in in-/on-wall distribution housing with
screwed cover. The devices can be mounted directly next
to each other.

• Install the PHC module in a suitable location.
• Install the device as shown in wiring diagram.
• Protect supply line at terminal L with circuit breaker
(F = 16 A)!
• Switch on electrical system.
Phc MODuLe bus
notes
– Do not lay the bus line parallel to the consumer and
mains cables!
– Observe the maximum cable length (1000 m)!
– Switch off power supply before connecting or disconnect-
ing bus line.
– The module can be positioned anywhere in the data line.
– A PHC bus line of 30 cm length is included.
– Caution!! Do not apply any mains voltage
(230 V~ /50 Hz) to the module bus terminals!
– Make sure the poles are correct (24V, A, B, 0V)!
MODuLAr sOcKet in AnD Out
The OUT socket and bus line serve
as the data connection between
the power supply module and other
modules.
The connection also supplies the
voltage (24 V DC) to the modules.
If an additional voltage supply needs
to be connected, it is connected to
the end of the bus line via the IN socket. The data telegrams
of the PHC system are then forwarded via the “IN” and
“OUT” sockets.
The voltage supply can be used as a bus distributor. The bus
line is laid in a separate distribution and connected to the IN
socket or module bus terminal.
MODuLe bus terMinAL
The module bus terminal is
used to route the bus line in
separate distributions. A JY(ST)
Y cable with 2x 2x 0.8 mm Ø is
normally used as a bus line.
Caution!!
If there is a connection between module
bus terminals with voltage supplies, the 24V line
must not be connected, since compensating cur-
rents can otherwise flow.
generAL infOrMAtiOn
DisPOsAL Of the DeVice
Do not dispose of old devices in the household
waste! The device must be disposed of in compli-
ance with the laws and standards of the country
in which it is operated!
The device contains electrical components that must be dis-
posed of as electronics waste. The enclosure is made from
recyclable plastic.
wArrAnty cOnDitiOns
These operating instructions are an integral part of both the
device and our terms of warranty. They must be handed over
to the user. The technical design of the appliance is subject
to change without prior notification.

gulations. Nevertheless, if a product should exhibit a defect,

In the event of a justified and properly established claim,

shall exercise its prerogative to either repair or replace
the defective device. Further claims or liability for conse-
quential damage are explicitly excluded. A justifiable defici-
ency is deemed to exist if the device exhibits a structural,
manufacturing, or material defect that makes it unusable or
substantially impairs its utility at the time it is turned over to
the end user. The warranty does not apply to natural wear,
improper usage, incorrect connection, device tampering or
the effects of external influences. The warranty period is 24
months from the date of purchase by the end user from a
dealer and ends not later than 36 months after the device’s
date of manufacture. German law shall be applicable for the
settlement of warranty claims.
