4. How to Connect with PC
1. Install the software on the supplied CD (The setup file is named as PeakTech -***-setup.exe).
2. Double-click the created desktop shortcuts.
3. Use the supplied USB cable to connect the USB port of the Oscilloscope in
to the
USB port of a PC.
Note:
If you use a USB cable which is not supplied by us, some problems such as connection error
and signal disturbing might occur.

Install the USB driver:
Open the help document of the software. Follow the steps of title "USB Driver Install Guide" in the
document to install the driver.
4.1. Performing the General Inspection
It is recommended after receipt of a new oscilloscope to inspect the instrument as follows:
1.
Check if the oscilloscope was damaged during shipment.
If you find that the cardboard packaging or the foam protective cushion are damaged, keep the
packaging, until the whole device and its accessories passed the electrical and mechanical
testing.
2.
Checking the accessories
Check probes and other accessories for damage or naked or kinked cables and wires before
operation. If in doubt, do not measure and inform your distributor.
3.
Inspection of the oscilloscope
If you notice any damage to the exterior of the device or the device is not working properly,
please contact your distributor. If the device has been damaged during shipment, please keep
the outer packaging.
4.2. How to Implement the Function Inspection
Make a fast function check to verify the normal operation of the instrument. First, connect the
oscilloscope with PC successfully, and then do the following steps:
1. Click
in the software interface to restore to factory settings. The default attenuation coefficient
set value of the probe in the software is 10X.
2. Set the Switch in the Oscilloscope Probe as 10X.
