Appendix- Running TV Signal through DVD player
You can connect a TV signal coaxial cable to the DVD player and have it send the reception signal to the
TV.
NOTE:
This is not the recommended setup. You will get better reception if you connect the
signal source directly to the TV. It is also recommended that you play DVD/CDs and read
media cards and USB drives through one of the other source ports (S-Video, HDMI, and
Composite Video) on the DVD Player.
1.
Connect the coaxial cable to the RF In connector on the DVD Player.
2.
Connect another coaxial cable to the RF Out connector on the DVD Player and the other end to the
TV/Antenna connector on the TV.
3.
Set the switch on the back of the TV to CH3 or CH4.
4.
Set the TV channel according to the switch on the DVD Player: CH3 is channel 3; CH4 is channel 4.
