Function keys
The keypad consists of 18 keys. The keys from 0 to 9 and the decimal point are used to enter
numbers

Getting started
4.1
Internal battery
The device can be pow ered either by the internal rechargeable battery (more than 12 hours w ith
continuous operation) or via the mains adaptor.
During charging, the LED glow s red. It w ill turn green as soon as the battery is fully charged.
When the battery is fully charged, the voltage is approx. 4.25 V. The voltage is show n in w indow M07.
The battery is nearly flat w hen the voltage falls below 3 V. The device also indicates the remaining
battery life w hich is determined internally via the voltage. The indication of the remaining battery life is
just a rough guide value.
4.2
Pow er on
The device can be sw itched on via the ON key and sw itched off using the OFF key. After sw itching
on, the device runs a self-diagnostic programme. The hardw are and the internal softw are are tested.
If an error is detected, this w ill be show n in the display.
